Jelly Flower Art
果凍花手作教學Petals are injected layer by layer into clear jelly with a syringe to build a flower in three dimensions. From a simple three-petal bloom to a layered bouquet — no experience needed, and you take your piece home.
Home / Handmade Baking
From castella to Chinese pastries and jelly flowers — handmade and baked the same day. With a pot of Taiwan tea, it's the most familiar of afternoons. We also bring this craft into schools and communities.

The handmade story
Tasting good has no shortcut — only patience
It all started with an old oven and a pair of hands that won't cut corners. Eggs whipped fresh, batter folded gently, baked long at low heat — a castella that is soft, moist and fragrant with egg, just like the taste from grandma's kitchen.
The list grew from there: mini mooncakes, pineapple cakes and egg-yolk pastries in the run-up to Mid-Autumn; butter cookies, nougat crackers and shortbread the rest of the year; and more recently a craft that calls for held breath — petals piped into jelly, one layer at a time. Different methods, one rule: handmade, made the same day, simple ingredients, no frills for the sake of looks.
Because we believe tasting good takes time, and heart.
How it's made
Fresh eggs whipped on the spot — the start of the egg fragrance and airy texture.
Patiently baked at low heat to lock in moisture — never dry, never cracked.
No stockpiling — baked and enjoyed the same day, when the flavour is at its best.
Flavours
Every one is made the same way — fresh-whipped batter, baked low and slow, made the same day. Only the flavour changes. Bulk pre-order.

Our Work
Alongside castella we make jelly flowers, Chinese pastries and hand-baked cookies, and box them up for the festival seasons. Everything below comes from actual classes and orders.
Education & outreach
Handcraft is not just a product — it's a skill worth sharing. We bring castella cake into schools and communities, so children, elders and neighbours can make it together — passing on food education and intergenerational learning between the mixing and the baking.
Petals are injected layer by layer into clear jelly with a syringe to build a flower in three dimensions. From a simple three-petal bloom to a layered bouquet — no experience needed, and you take your piece home.
Combined with food & agriculture education — from one egg to one cake, students learn where ingredients come from and how things are made by hand. Hours can be tailored to the school curriculum.
Held at community hubs and elder-care groups, where everyone makes castella by hand — rediscovering local flavour and memory through cooking and eating together.
Open to parent-child classes, corporate team-building and club outings — guided by staff, with materials prepared, to make a cake that's truly your own.

What we set out to do
Let a handmade cake become a way to connect people — from field to table, from tea to treat, from the shop to schools and communities.
